The Lodge II at Basecamp Resort

The Lodge at Basecamp Resort on 5 acres is sure to steal your heart!  Inside you will find 2 living spaces, a well-stocked and updated kitchen, dining area, queen bedroom with attached bath, and a spacious master king suite with patio access and beautiful views. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and lake from the large deck, front porch, and fire pit area. Water abounds on this property with a 3 acre lake, river access, and a private hot tub.  The lake is ready for adventure with fishing (catch and release), kayaking, paddle boarding, and swimming. Cane poles, stand-up boards and kayaks are provided for our guest’s use. You can also fish and explore 3 other ponds on the property and we offer Guadalupe river access about a 1/2 mile away!

Other important information about the Lodge:   We welcome dogs for a $75 per dog fee (max 2). We provide dog beds and bowls upon request. In order to keep the property dog-friendly, we kindly ask that you clean up after them, both inside and outside (we provide dog waste bags at the home).  Please do not allow your dog on any furniture.  Please do not leave your dog unattended in the home unless you have a crate. There is no fenced-in yard attached to the home.  There is a separate fenced-in yard, near the home, where dogs can be kept. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!!!  We do not allow cats in the home.

We have a combination Keurig and brew coffee maker and provide starter packs of coffee, cream and sugar.

Smoking of any kind is not permitted inside The Lodge. 

All amenities are for registered guests only.  

There are 2 additional bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a bunk room that will be unavailable when renting the Lodge as a 2 bedroom, 2 bath option.

A rental agreement and damage deposit are required prior to arrival.  A $500 hold will be placed on guest’s credit card two days prior to reservation date and released once the property has been assessed for damages.  There is NO CHARGE to guest’s credit card unless there are property damages.  The hold is automatically released after the reservation.  We have never withheld a deposit before, and very likely will never have to, because we have the most awesome guests!!!
