Nestled in the hills between Hunt and Ingram, Basecamp Resort overlooks beautiful Basecamp Lake and offers private Guadalupe River access just across the road. Guests enjoy swimming, kayaking, fishing, hiking, scenic drives, and everything that makes the Texas Hill Country one of Texas’ favorite vacation destinations.

From San Antonio
Take Interstate 10 west and exit either Exits 508, 506 or 501.  501 is the fastest way, but it will take you around Kerrville, TX where you can stock up on supplies.

From Austin
Take Hwy 290 west from Austin, until you get to Fredericksburg and then take Hwy 16 south to I-10 or directly into Kerrville.

From Dallas
Head south on Hwy 67, outside of Glen Rose take a right on Hwy 220 to Hico.  Take a right in Hico on Hwy 6, and then a quick left on Hwy 281 to Hamilton.  In Hamilton, you’ll take a right on Hwy 36 to 218, where you take a left.  Take another left on Hwy 2005 which will get you close to Gothwaite, and is a beautiful part of the drive.  2005 deadends into Hwy 84 where you will take a right, and then a quick left onto Loop 15.  Take another left at the light onto Texas 16 S and you’ll follow this all the way into Kerrville.  Enjoy the ride, it’s beautiful.  You’ll go through San Saba, Llano and Fredericksburg, which are small quaint towns in the Texas Hill Country!  Cellular get’s a little spotty between San Saba and Fredericksburg, so if you have work to do, you can always just stay on 281 from Hamilton.  Not near as scenic and not as fast, but cellular works.

From Houston
It’s easy, find I-10, head west and stay on it until you get to either exit 508, 506 or 501.

From Kerrville
Head west on HWY 27 also known as Junction Hwy by locals.  When you get to ingram there’s fork in the road, stay left on Hwy 39 west.  Basecamp Resort is located just under five miles from the fork in Ingram off of Cardinal Hill Rd, which is where you will take a right.  A couple hundred yards on the right, you will find Stablewood Springs Rd.  You have officially arrived at Basecamp Resort.
